HOW THE PROCESS WORKS: APEX has anonymized the information below due to the competitive nature of the solicitations and proposal environment. If you find an interest, please contact Michael Bianco using the input form below. Include the APEX assigned number or list of numbers to which you want to be introduced. The table columns designate whether the organization seeking a partner is a company or a university and the kind of organization sought for a partnership. The table also includes a technology description of what the advertising organization brings to the table (technology brought) and what the advertising organization seeks in a partner (technology sought) as well as the technical competencies of the desired partner. Once you respond with the APEX assigned number(s) you are interested in meeting, we will review the request with the researcher seeking a partner and get their approval to release additional information to both parties and connect the two of you to explore a collaboration. Once we connect parties, we leave it up to you to discuss if interests, objectives, and capabilities are aligned.

111 Small Business Research Institute Partner (University, College, FFRDC, etc.) We have developed a proof-of-concept AI pipeline to decode cryptic ground evidence, potentially of interest to the USAF for surveillance and security. Our unclassified dataset could serve as a source for transfer learning and we have access to almost unlimited further data. Our algorithms are providing increasingly robust classification and inference for our current application area. We have started UAV trials for data collection and on-board inference as an edge capability for the pipeline. We are looking for a partner with capabilities in computer vision, particularly in classifying obscure or cryptic objects in images, software engineering and UAV-pipeline integration across different sensor modalities for a rapid-response image classification system. 73 Small Business Both small business and/or research institute We have developed an alternative combustion engine propulsion system for civil and military aircraft, as well as other mission critical applications, requiring between 135-400KW. Our engine design significantly reduces operating cost and emissions compared to existing aircraft piston engines, reduces both combustion and noise emissions, is digitally controlled with ability to interface with multiple platforms, and can consume multiple fuel types. Our prototype engine has completed secondary flight testing on a Cessna civilian aircraft and indicates considerable potential to meet multiple platforms. Our design and manufacturing model allows for quick and less expensive R&D of new applications as well as faster times to manufacturing ability. We are currently working on expanding to hybrid engine technologies focused on UAV applications. Our in-house capabilities include aircraft application prototyping, electronic engine control and software development, flight and ground testing programs, and regulatory documentation. Seeking partners experienced with the capacity to develop more efficient quieter propeller designs and produce prototypes for flight testing, develop and perform structural analysis verification models for FAA or EASA civilian aircraft certification regulations, develop and perform mission critical software analysis and verification (such as ACR DO 178 or other similar mission critical basis), lowering combustion emissions compatible with aircraft weight and aerodynamic drag limitations, applications of lighter composite materials incorporated into engine design, and experience with FAA certification of part 23 aircraft and STC process. 89 Small Business Both small business and/or research institute We have developed and patented a vision system suitable for landing an autonomous flying drone on a heaving/rolling ship or docking an autonomous space vehicle with an orbital target. This system can determine the 3D position and attitude of a target relative to the observing system at high bandwidth (100 Hz or more). The system does not use image analysis and the computing demands are low enough to support onboard computation. We have operational optical detectors suitable for this application. This vision system is a front-end to a drone navigation control system. We are looking for a partner to help us develop the software and build a proof-of-concept system that is ready to integrate into an autonomous vehicle. A company that is currently developing an autonomous vehicle for the Navy or Space Force and needs to add an ability to handle a moving or rotating landing location would be an ideal partner. Autonomy, Software Development, UAS, Aircraft, Aero design Space Force, Navy, DoD Other (DARPA, DLA, USSOCOM, etc.), Non-DoD (Dept. of Energy, NASA, NSF, etc.)

71 Small Business Research Institute Partner (University, College, FFRDC, etc.) We provide resilient hybrid data fabric for edge devices (satellites, drones, etc.) and the Cloud. Our distributed data management software securely collects, processes, stores, and shares data delivering a holistic solution extending application capabilities by supporting real-time peer-to-peer data exchange. This provides assured, resilient, low-latency data to users through client-side encryption and data movement while assuming all devices are hostile, and networks are unreliable. We are looking for research partners who are interested in addressing the need to have resilient data fabric for space assets to facilitate mission success. Research areas of interest include: Dynamic data routing through asynchronous disruption tolerant networks. This requires switching between assorted orbital military/commercial networks, downlinking through diverse ground stations, interfacing with cloud architectures; Modular, low size, weight, and power (SWaP) software to allow rapid adoption across commercial and military networks and ease of integration for military internet-of-things applications; Leveraging multiple sources of intelligence data available to the U.S. Government now (and in the future), including a common set of tools for end-users to request data; Develop trust factors commensurate with risk or mission applications for both data sources & network paths.
