Paula brings extensive senior leadership experience from the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), where she served in key executive roles including Executive Officer and Liaison to the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN). In these positions, she helped drive enterprise transformation and advance cross-sector collaboration across the Department of Defense, industry, academia, and Congress. Her work focused on accelerating technology development and transition by building durable partnerships that strengthened innovation pathways and enhanced mission impact.
As Executive Director of APEX, Paula leads the Partner Innovation Accelerators (PIAs) and advances strategic teaming and collaboration efforts across academic, industry, and government stakeholders. She is responsible for expanding and strengthening programs that foster meaningful cross-sector engagement, with a strong emphasis on strategic outreach aligned to Parallax’s long-term growth objectives. Her leadership supports both new and existing initiatives that enhance collaboration, accelerate innovation, and drive sustained program success.
