OVERVIEW

As a small business operating in the DoD market sector, you have likely heard a government representative tell you they can’t buy your product or service until funds are “POM-ed.” When you ask some follow up questions, you learn of a larger and apparently monolithic Planning, Programming, and Budgeting & Expectation (PPBE) process operating in support of the President’s Budget (PB) submission. You are now thoroughly confused. What is this process and how does it work? For this collider, we are super pleased to present Air Force Materiel Command’s (AFMC’s) resident expert on the POM and PPBE process, Ms. Kristen O’Sullivan, Chief, Strategic Plans and Programs, HQ AFMC. Ms. O’Sullivan will be on-hand to define and explain these processes as well as answer your questions. If you’ve ever wondered how the DoD/Air Force budgeting process works, then this event is not to be missed. See you July 12th to Decode the Air Force Budget Process!
