The Department of the Air Force (DAF) intends to sponsor a hybrid Strategic Development Planning & Experimentation (SDPE)/Transformational Capabilities Office (TCO) and Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability (AFWIC) Strategy Interchange Meetings (SIMs) during the week of 19-22 April 2021. This technology engagement will be arranged in a hybrid setting, conducting the Plenary Session virtually, followed by face-to-face dialogue between the government experts and the industry participants. The venue for the one-on-one sessions will be the General Jacob E. Smart Conference Center, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The April event will be structured to provide industry with insight into ongoing Capability Development Activities, SDPE Experimentation Campaigns, AFWIC’s vision of strategic engagements with industry, as well as, proposed experimentation pathfinders and watch-list efforts. The technical agenda will also provide senior leader level insight ranging from visionary outlooks to diving into specific topics of high level interest supporting our nation’s warfighters. Additional details for the technical agenda are being developed and will be shared as soon as practical.
