SBIR/STTR Program Opportunities Info Sessions
In anticipation of the upcoming Department of the Air Force (DAF) Open Topic Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) opportunity, APEX is thrilled to bring back another round of SBIR/STTR information sessions! These sessions provide entrepreneurs, researchers, and program administrators information about the DAF SBIR/STTR program and support resources. It’s an easy way to help you decide whether to pursue DAF SBIR/STTR funding in the future.
If you’ve attended our informational sessions in the past, these will cover much of the same content, but will also include some significant program changes in the DAF SBIR/STTR program and APEX’s free-of-charge support services.
A Different SBIR/STTR Approach
The DAF has changed the approach with its Open Topic SBIR/STTR program, making their process reflect a more venture capital-like, rapid-turnaround, with an application-oriented approach. The program presents a significant early-stage funding opportunity for technology entrepreneurs with products and services that can solve problems for the Air Force.
