Learn more about the Air Force’s outreach to Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions (HBCUs/MSIs) at a free virtual event scheduled for 11-11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5.
The Air Force Small Business Technology Transfer (AF STTR) program is reaching out to HBCUs and MSIs with an opportunity for funding research and development through strategic partnerships with small businesses. The Air Force SBIR/STTR is set up to address barriers that exist in the traditional Air Force Acquisition process.
Guest speaker for the Oct. 5 event will be Ellen Robinson, Project Manager, Air Force Office of Scientific Research. She will discuss funding opportunities for beginning careers in science and engineering.
Ms. Anissa Lumpkin, Lead Program Manager, Air Force Small Business Technology Transfer (AF STTR), also will be available to answer questions.
